WATCH: SNL's Weekend Update skewers Stephen Miller

You know you've become infamous when you're the butt of a Weekend Update joke.

That was the case last night for Stephen Miller, Trinity '07 and a senior policy advisor to President Donald Trump. Michael Che, a host of Saturday Night Live's Weekend Update, joked that Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer recently told reporters that he requested that Miller not be in the room during a meeting he had with Trump.

"But Miller usually scatters away when someone turns the lights on—because he looks like a roach," Che joked.

Schumer, a Democrat from New York, told The New York Times' podcast "The Daily" that he warned Trump against inviting Miller.

"I said if you're going to have Stephen Miller there or somebody like that, it's not going to work," Schumer said.

Earlier this month, Miller reportedly helped invite several conservative members of Congress to a meeting with Trump in order to scuttle a bipartisan immigration compromise deal proposed by Republican Senators Dick Durbin and Lindsey Graham.
